The 2025 Charleston Robert Burns Dinner

On July 21, 1801 the friends of Robert Burns held the first Burns Dinner at the Burns Cottage in Ayrshire, Scotland on the anniversary of his death. Since that first dinner, “Burns Night” has spread across the world and is celebrated on his birthday all over the world.

The Robert Burns World Federation seeks to educate, celebrate and promote the life and works of Robert Burns and Scotland’s Heritage, language and culture. The Federation has over 250 member clubs worldwide that celebrate this annual event.

As a member of The Robert Burns World Federation, The Robert Burns Society of Charleston is honored to be the official host of Charleston’s Robert Burns Dinner.

On February 1, 2025, we will continue the wonderful tradition of celebrating Burns Night. More information coming soon.
